I'm wondering why you seem to be more concened about a golf bag rather than the clubs themselves. yes its a nice looking bag I have one myself but a bag is worth next to nothing Steal my $300.00 clubs and I'm looking for blood plus all the other crap in my bag Frank

Soo.. How long is it taking now a days? I just sent in my final payment and am excited to get my new bag. Just ordered my Taylor Made R9 clubs so it'll be nice to put them in a nice new bag when they show up!

I have the cartbag it looks real nice and I've had a few comments about it especially with my name on it. If after 5 weeks you don't see it phone the club and enquire about it. Frank

I got my bag today, Oh man what a bag, I come home from work after two months of looking for my bag, thinking oh man oh I am going to get a bag, oh I got a bag, the box was better than the bag. I swing a R9 driver, a Ping Farway 3,7, muzuno 4-P and a Ping putter, and do you think that I would put them in a CHEAP A$$ bag like this... I am trying to keep this clean but if I'm going to get screw like I did on this deal, I live in AR this would mean a A$$ whooping. This is the worst I have ever fell into. Its a rip off, I am going to send this bag to Tiger Woods since he is behind Nike, and with my name and the PGA Partners Life Time Member patch on it and see what he thinks about it.This is a game of honesty and intergerty, for someone to promise a burton bag and send something so cheap as this bag.  I WILL NOT CARRY IT! I opened the box today and looked at it, no external putter holder, you can buy the same bag for less than a hundred dollars.. I was promised more, its not the money, its the fact that they told me that I was getting a Burton Bag and they send me this CRAP! We all do business deals and you don't change midstream, you do the orginal deal, this is all I ask, man up... This is a HUGE Corporation not a little Golf Shop...

Well, on 1/12/2009 I read they were substituting Niki bags for the Burton. I immediately called member services and they told me "you were promised a Burton bag, you will get a Burton bag (see my posting same date). Today, 8/19/2009 my "NIKI" bag arrived. I called member services and spoke with a supervisor, Gail. She told me Burton has gone out of business so that was why I got the Niki. I was told they would reimburse me $75.00 for the Niki bag if I was not happy with it and returned it. I asked about the difference between the $75.00 refund and the letter I got when they wanted me to join that said I was getting a bag valued at $160.00. She told me that's not what they paid for the bags because "they get a discount!". I told them I wasn't happy and was considering contacting the Texas Attorney General. She told me I had been advised they have the right to substitute. I kept all the documents they have sent me and can't find this notification.

If they knew Burton was going out of business at the time they also should have known how many Burton bags they owed out to new members. I believe that to be professional and show they were good for their word they would have ordered them so they could be sent as promised.

I saw the Burton bag on a gentleman I played golf with a couple weeks ago. It was really nice and I was excited about recieving mine soon. The Niki is o.k. but no where near as nice as the Burton. I guess they stuck me out. I won't be buying anything from this organization again.

I'm retired military and soon to be retired peace officer. I believe in total honesty. I feel bad they don't.

Well SGTMAJ I got replacement Burton bag from the club sent to me 03/17/09 because my original was damaged when I got it. I know this date because for some stupid reason I still have the postage receipt (I had to go and pay the duty on this bag) right here with me in my pile of junk. Frank P.S. Well almost a month to date since my check cleared I recieved my bag.  I'll post pictures later tonight for those interested in what it looks like.  I'd say it has a street value of maybe $100 due to the customization.  It is significantly ligher than my current bag, and with not as many features.  The only plus is that is has more divisors on the top than my current bag.  So I'll use it but it seems to be on par for the organization.  It definitely does not look as nice as the burton bag that I was told I would get upon completing my membership.

Hi Y'all,

I have paid my life membership and called the member services support number today inquiring about the "bag" issue.  I was informed that I was to receive a Burton bag and that I should have it in 2-3 wks., which is just about right. Look forward to seeing the new Nike bag photos after they are uploaded.

Received my bag about a week ago, not a bad bag.
It is plain to see fro the other picture posted that they are not the same style, but functional just the same.

I've had mine for about 8 months and it's coming apart. The putter shaft came apart at the bottom, some of the mesh has separated and the other day I was closing a large zipper compartment and the zipper came apart. I've e-mailed partners and am waiting for a response.

Did you get the Burton bag they promised you or was it a Nike?  I was supposed to get a Burton based on my 'welcome package' and got a Nike instead.

Sorry guys, I keep forgetting to post a pic.  I'll try to do that tonight when I get home.  Haven't been golfing in weeks as I threw my back out about a month ago and haven't been up to playing lately.

i have been waiting since july for my burton bag and have called them 3 times and now they say it's on back order and would be another 4-6 weeks. they sure are quick to take the money. i do not have faith in an organization that is deceptive as they are. i am going to register a complaint with arizona attorney generals office, consumer fraud division. Good Luck They will probably laugh at you. If anyone in that office or any other office has ever read these post's in the last year or so will know that it's buyer beware. There hve been many warnings from other life members posted here and yet it amazes me how many other's keep spending their money on this site hoping for a really nice bag and maybe just maybe a chance at being asked or to win and nice prize. I became a lifer when this was a decent place to come and chat with people and the site was a decent and enjoyable place to be. Now it's just a money grubbing magazine site. Frank

I finished paying off my Life Time Membership back in 2008.  I got my Burton Bag...cart bag... in January of this year.  It's okay...but I have better.  I like using it in golf outings since it does have my name on it.  As for other membership "benefits", I have found if I don't call and ask for them...they never show up.  I live here in the Houston area, and every January I have had to call and ask for my PGA Tour Partners free passes...since we have the Shell Houston Open and the Administaff Champions Tour stops here.  The first year...they sent me passes that expired before the Champions Tour event...so they were no use to me at all. In 2008...I never got any at all....So this past year, I called and had them sent to me....in January, and I got the Passes in July...7 months later, so I couldn't use it for the Shell Houston Open. There were other benefits to being a Life member that I have never seen except in the first packet.  I don't know about any of you, but all I ever get is a bunch of DVD's sent to me in the mail all the time that they want me to pay $30 bucks for.  I have never gotten anything more than sleeve of balls that wasworth anything in the "Equipment Tests."  Where you get to try and keep new equipment.   Would be nice to get a free set of irons or a new Driver....but all I have gotten were some balls and a couple of really "el cheapo" swing training aids that you could make yourself.  Both of them broke the first time I tried them!!!

You live and learn I guess!!!

I must have joined a really long time ago. My bag is a travel bag. A good one for sure but no name on it. :^( First time in the forums. I spend a good bit of time at Straka but thought I pop over here to see what was going on. Great to be with you 'lifers.' God bless

I received my walking bag (Burton) and the 1st time I used it, the plastic clip broke for the shoulder straps. It is a pretty cheaply made bag. Even my cheap $50.00 bag from Wally World has a metal clip. I have contacted the customer service people and like someone also said they seem not to care at all. They said they would send me a new bag but this is now going on 8 weeks. Bet I don't get it. I am not at all pleased with the service or the quality of the club. Tournaments canceled, no test products sent, etc.
Pretty much a waste of my money!!

I have been on them. They say that the "factory is backed up". It took two weeks to get my original bag and now they are backed up? Yeah right.
