With so many instruction books out there to boggle the mind, I was pleasantly surprised after finishing a book my wife gave me called "The Secret of GOLF" by George Peper. (2005 by Arran House Press) There are 47 chapters covering every aspect of the swing and game, both mechanical and mental, that has intrigued all of us. It includes innovative, revolutionary and groundbreaking keys to playing good golf from teachers, players, scientists and others obsessed with this game from as far back as 100 years ago when Harry Varden described his grip in his book "The Complete Golfer" in 1905. It's very insightful and a fun read and I know golfers of all levels will pick up a secret or two to help their game. The appendix lists the original sources of these excerpts for those interested in more information on the secrets that help their game. Enjoy
