Has anyone played the new Taylormade Penta golf ball?
All the online reviews I've read thus far have been good. Would love to hear from fellow members and get some non biased real world opinions. Been playing the TP red for 2 years, what a deal you can get on these 4 piece balls now at Walmart for $30 a doz. It's as good as the ProV1x.

Sweet. Plays similar to Pro V1, Bridgestone B330S, Nike One Tour. No problems with durability. Spin was ok, maybe a smidge less. Distance was right in the same zone. Ball flight in the middle (neither low nor high), but a little higher off the driver. Feel was great. Definitely an improvement over the TP Red.

I just tried the Penta and think it is the best ball I've used. Definitely long and bites on the green better than ProV1 for me. But do you need to spend that much for a good ball?
