I'm having trouble with consistency getting my weight to the front on contact. I recently tried keeping most of my weight on my front foot at address (30/70) for long and mid irons and have been more successful contacting the ball perfectly. I was wondering if this is similar to the Stack and Tilt method I see advertised on the Golf Channel. Has anyone tried this and how has it helped your game?

I bought the DVD series. It's too early to tell if it will help my game. S&T is designed to solve your problem. One of the main concepts is that weight shifts forward through the whole swing vs starting going back and then moving forward on the downswing. A lot of S&T is just a different perspective on age old advice (e.g. how tilting forward keeps your head still), but this could be just what the dr ordered for some folks.

Thanks Rusty. I'll experiment during my next visit to the range and look into it more if I feel it is right for me. I've been enjoying the professional advice written in the new Golf Magazines we're now getting as members. I'm sure to see some improvement in my game soon and look forward to lowering my handicap index.
Thanks again
Rich
