I am a life member, and a member since '99. I don't know where that ranks me in longevity with the most of you. I was just recalling the change in the club - I got the message at the end of last year - and finally decided to come see what was up. I wasn't a frequent contributor or user of any of the services before, so I don't know what I've been missing. I mostly just wanted to support golf in any way I could so I joined. Plus I liked the travel bag and jacket! Thinking of getting involved more now though, especially with the equipment testing program. Anyone who's been involved that has any opinions, I'd love to know what you think.
Just dropping by to say hello - I am a member on several other different golf forums, but I hope to stop here a little more frequently. This forum doesn't look to be largely populated or frequented, but I hope to find interesting insight on the game.
I'm about an 18 handicap right now - my last listed was 16 last year but I know I'm not that good today. I play about once a week, practice very little and love to play - love the game. Normal scores are between 95 and 105, and I get about 60 rounds a year in. I live in a suburb of New Orleans, so weather usually isn't an issue (well, rain and hurricanes... and this was an unusually cool winter that lasted until about 2 weeks ago...) and I have family in South Florida. My golfing area is anywhere from Baton Rouge, LA to Destin, FL, and then in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale/West Palm Beach area. I'm not much good, but I like to think I'm a good golf partner.

Sorry, but you will find little to no activity here. This club has become a joke. Little to no response to questions or concerns. If you do get an answer, they will promise something in "7-10 business days", but don't hold your breath. I've gotten that answer three times regarding the rebate forms.
It's a shame. We had something good here, but management has killed it.
