For those that are members of USGA type 2/3 clubs, are you having problems entering golf tournaments?
Would you be willing to enter a tournament exclusively for members of a type 2/3 club? Any and all queries accepted, and ideas can be submitted.

Okay, that makes one interested, anyone else?
I'm trying to figure things out, if the club or Golf magazine has some input, I'll accept even that. I know people have planned Meets so maybe they have some ideas too.

Uhm, the magazine gives members a subscription to Golf magazine, since they are the Sponsors of the club now.
I'm doing what I can. Right now I am tentatively calling it the 3T Championship (which stands for Type -Two/-Three championship - which beats Golf Club Without Real Estate Championship). The event will be open to women and men, the number of flights will be based on the number of competitors, and depending on who enters, there should be at least two champions. I am trying to schedule three rounds on three different courses, one of which will be a links type course. It will be a stroke play event, full handicap, and will hopefully be enjoyable. I want the last course to be the most challenging.

That is one of the things I will have to do, Wedger. I am in the process of contacting as many organizations as possible. I'm also going to re-contact the courses. Some of them expect the organization making the request to already be a 501(3)(c) organization.
I also need to create a tournament committee, comprised of individuals that know the rules of golf (preferably). Hopefully these individuals would also be willing to get some things moving as well.\ I'm going to post this in tournaments as well.

Good Luck. I agree with Frankat. Since the So-called club is just giving you the mag. The magazine is not a sponsor of the club. Life/charter member of this club. Still waiting for the so-called benefits. Again, good luck. try the backspin forums.

They wouldn't have changed the name of the club if there wasn't an association between Golf magazine, which was stated in a letter I received from the golf club, and the Partner's club. What is the backspin forum?
