The new King Cobra Speed® LD Driver. Its design includes a fast-back crown, deep dimples and Limit Dimensions technology, all of which push the CG lower and further back – for an extremely high MOI (Moment of Inertia). And with the largest face in golf, the LD is amazingly hot and forgiving across 9 Hotter Points. It’s a whole lot of technology. For a whole lot of distance.

PROS
I bought one about 3 months ago. Will Not use anything else. I hit the ball straighter than ever before. More distance, better feel, everything about the club is GREAT
CONS
None
OVERALL
Everyone should have one.

PROS
I selected the offset model & my tendency to slice went away as promised. Plus I now have an almost natural draw which I can call on at will and can still cut when & if I want to.
CONS
Some of the firmer balls make it sound wierd, a vibration sound almost like it's broken. Given what I does for my drive, tho, I don't mind. I've been told it's the sound of titanium in the face. (???)
OVERALL
Got mine at the end of the '07 season (mid-western golfer) and only got in five rounds. My noise comment is based on driving range time looking for the right ball. Any ideas on compatable balls? My swing speed is 85-95.

PROS
I've used mine three times since I purchased it before Christmas. Amazing, my slice has disappeared and my distance has increased by 20-30 yards. Best driver on the market. I could never hit a draw, now I can at will.

PROS
This driver delivered the goods when some others only delivered the hype on the technology. Cobra came up with good value in a great design. The Speed LDF was easy to hit from the beginning and the consistency was spot on.
CONS
Why does everything in golf cost $399, almost everything!
OVERALL
I only discounted this from a 10 because Cobra has already come out with a newer design tempting me to upgrade once again. They would have to make a sweet deal to pry this LD from my bag.

Just tested the NEW 2008 model at a demo day. I am a slicer, so I tried the offset and another brands offset. What a difference! The Cobra gave me more distance and better feel than the other brand. I also hit a few straighter shots than the other brand.
CONS
Was able to test what I couldn't buy because he had not shipped from the factory yet. What a bummer. I would have given a 10.
OVERALL
Great club. It will not totally eliminate your slice (I don't believe NO club will), however, check your SWING and keep working at it and you'll get better. I loved the club...so I special ordered one.

PROS
You cannot mishit this driver! Tee it high and it just goes. Impossible to hit a slice.
CONS
Not one! Those you play with or hit next to on the driving range may not like the sound, it sounds like and goes like a bazooka!
OVERALL
buy this driver and you will not be dissapointed!

PROS
Straight and long. The feel is excellant and it's easy to swing. I think it is because of the lighter feel of the club.
CONS
It doesn't have the sound of a Callaway or Taylormade but I hit it better and straighter so the sound doesn't bother me.
OVERALL
A great club and it definately has helped me off the tee.

Got fitted by Hot Stix golf in Phoenix last spring of 07 with the Cobra driver...several times over last summer I hit all 14 fairways and I'm a 8-10 handicap! Looks good over the ball and hits the ball very straight.
CONS
None that I know of with the possible exception of the little bit of an odd sound on contact.....but down the middle most of the time and you can live with it!!
OVERALL
Best driver I've ever hit....would absolutely buy another one if this one broke or something....In fact I purchased a 3 and 5 wood after liking the driver so well...they are outstanding as well

I bought the M speed Driver and it has made my golf game a lot better, by increasing my drive distance and hitting more fairways. I also tried the F speed and the X speed at a local driving range where you can use demo clubs and those also kept my drives long and straight. This is a great driver.
CONS
Absolutely none can't complain when you're killing the ball and it's going straight.
OVERALL
Great club, a great idea to make it fit your own golf game with the speed of your swing and everything else because it really does make your golf game a whole lot better. The fairway woods are also very great.

I actually tried the Offset version of this Driver after I had already purchased the Taylor Made Burner Draw. It was a very smooth club, and helped my Lefty slice quite a bit.
CONS
It was a little shorter in the shaft than I was used to, but after the adjustment period It was a great feel
OVERALL
Great club, right up there with all others of its' class.

I bought the M speed model, and I am hitting the ball higher and straighter than ever! Like the lightweight shaft.
CONS
Awful sound on impact, sounds like you hit an empty beer barrel with a hammer, but when you hit it 20 yards farther, who cares? Look of club at address inspires confidence.
OVERALL
Very nice driver that works great for my game. I am now 60, and the M speed shaft seems to work extremely well.

The BEST driver I have ever owned. I bought it at the end of last year and aboslutely love it. I can hit it with a draw or fade and can control it as good or better than anything else in the bag. It has give me another 25 to 50 yards off of the tee.
CONS
The sound. One of the guys at my club says it sounds like two Volkswagons hitting head on. I really don't care though. It's all about what it has done for my game
OVERALL
All around great driver.

I bought this club about 2 weeks ago.( It took that long for it to get in my price range! LOL) I have played 3 rounds since I purchased it and my slice has all but disappeared. I can even hit a draw! This club is as close to perfect as you can get. I love it and I am thoroughly satisfied with my $199.99 purchase price. Go get one. If you can afford the 08' its just as nice.
CONS
I don't consider the sound of club a con, but this one is extremely loud. The 08' is quieter.
OVERALL
I would choose this club over the Tour Burner anyday!!!

I have owned several clubs and none of them can touch the Cobra LD's . I now own the 08 L4V and its the greatest club on earth.
CONS
There isnt one . To the people who comlain about the the noise it makes on contact ,who cares
OVERALL
Their isnt a better product made to date

M SPEED,08. LOVE IT, TOOK CARE OF MY SLICE, BETTER DISTANCE AND DOWN THE MIDDLE. WHAT MORE TO ASK FOR....... DID BUY A 3 WOOD AFTER AND IT IS I FEEL, EQUAL OR BETTER THEN THE DRIVER. FULL SET OF CLUBS IS THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD

Give a lot of help for those who push or sometimes slice the ball. Nice distance. draw biased. more of a game improvement club than a players club.
CONS
the sound is sometimes hard to get use to. closed face.
OVERALL
hard to find an easier to hit driver

Great driver. Cured my slice. Straight down the fairway most of the time unless I do something really wrong. Easy to shape the ball as well. Gained an extra 20 yards easy.
CONS
Sounds a little weird at first (sounds like a gun shot), but all that went out the window when you're watching your ball fly as straight as an arrow. Gotten use to the sound after 3 holes.
OVERALL
Everyone should give this driver a try. I originally bought the 3W (same serious) first, fell in enough with that, then decided to go for the driver too! So try the 3W too!

I have had one since August 08 and rate it 9 out of 10. This club is very solid and I hit it about 240-250 consistantly. I am 64 yrs old with a 5 hdcp.
CONS
